Description of significance: CONSTRUCTED IN 1910, THE BRICK RICHARDSON BUILDING WAS THE HEART OF COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY IN THIS SMALL TOWN. TYPICAL OF MOST SMALL TOWNS, THE BANK WAS LOCATED IN THE CORNER SECTION OF THE BUILDING AND FEATURED A CANTED ENTRY. THE WINGS ON EACH STREET HOUSED THE POST OFFICE AND PHARMACY. NOTABLE ARE THE STRIATED PIERS AND THE CORBLE TABLE. LISTED IN NATIONAL REGISTER 10/6/83.
